I approached to photography when I was very young and after my studies I completely dedicated myself to image and communication.After spending a short period in Torino assisting still-life photographers I moved to Milan and I got into fashion world. I started assisting, as a freelance, big fashion photographers working for very important fashion magazines and campaigns.
In 1997 I got my first important client and I did lots of bridals campaigns and editorials.In the same time I started covering fashion shows in New York, London, Milan, Paris, Sao Paulo,Moscow working for VOGUE JAPAN, VOGUE CHINA, VOGUE UK, BRITISH ELLE, VOGUE AUSTRALIA, VOGUE KOREA, STYLE.COM,ID UK,ELLE COLLECTIONS and many others.
One of the things that attract me most are faces. For this reason I started working on a specific style and I did lots of portraits by using the ironic side of the people. I have done ADV campaigns and calendars and I won, in the year 2008 the “FOTO CULT PRIZE” for the best portfolio of the year.
In the last years I have often travelled to Asia, central/south America and Middle East doing photo report in several depressed area of the world.
I have published on L’ESPRESSO, BMM, LABELMAG, IL VENERDI DI REPUBBLICA, MAX,STYLE corriere della sera,SPORTWEEK,CAUSETTE FRANCE, PLAYBOY, MAXIM, PANORAMA, BIZARRE UK, SHOCK FRANCE and many others.
In 2010 I got an honorable mention ASIA PHOTO CONTEST 2010 about “Japan Sex Industry“.
Since year 2007 I collaborate with Peacereporter Magazine.
Since 2014 I collaborate with CONTRASTO covering stories and editorials on piemonte/turin area.
